Abstract

Recent advancements in 3D printing demand higher speed, precision, and automation to meet modern manufacturing requirements. This paper proposes a high-speed multi-colour 3D printing architecture integrated with intelligent flow rate compensation and full automatic calibration. The system ensures stable extrusion and dimensional accuracy even under high acceleration conditions. Automatic calibration eliminates manual bed leveling and alignment errors, while active flow control maintains consistent material deposition across complex geometries. The multi-colour capability allows dynamic filament selection, enabling the fabrication of visually and functionally diverse components in a single printing cycle. Performance evaluation shows significant improvements in print reliability, surface quality, and production speed compared to conventional single-colour printers. The proposed approach is suitable for research laboratories, smart manufacturing, and rapid product customization.
